Lecturer in Biomaterials at the University of Bradford [2016-]
Maria received a degree in Chemistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece before studying for a PhD in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Professor Yannis Missirlis at the University of Patras. Amongst numerous posts she has worked in Dublin and Leeds on Surface and Medical Engineering projects.
She joined the University of Bradford in 2014 as a Research and Knowledge Transfer Officer in the Centre of Advanced Material Engineering before taking up a permanent position in 2016.
